Silent Art Auction “Beat a record!”
Times are tough for culture. So Joe Jack et John is organizing a unique and original fundraiser to help finance its next creation entitled, Mimi.
Like the main character of the play, Elvis, who wants to get instant fame  by achieving a Guiness World Record, Joe Jack et John asked a dozen Montreal artists to create a piece of art that would be a record in itself.  Have a look at their creations on our virtual gallery : joejacketjohn.blogspot.com
Make a bid! It’s worth it ! Support a good cause and get a beautiful, original artwork!

Art Auction

Joe Jack  et John was founded in 2003, by Catherine Bourgeois and Amélie Dumoulin, and with the help of Julie Rousse. Their goal is to create socially relevant and avant-garde theatre, exploring boundaries between theatre and performance art. The company’s mandate focuses on challenging the notion of casting by including diverse actors from various backgrounds. The aim behind this choice is to take unusual paths creating the effect of strangeness necessary for reflexion and poetry. Joe Jack et John opts for a theatre of creation and collaborative writing with actors and designers.
